Biographical Sketch of Evangelist Doug Sehorne

About Evangelist Doug Sehorne

Doug Sehorne was born in southeastern KY in 1953.  He was saved on June 11th, 1969, and began preaching about one year later (42 years now).  He entered full-time ministry as a Youth Evangelist in 1972, one week after he was married to his lovely wife, Vickie (Anderson).

Brother Sehorne has worn many hats in the ministry such as Youth Evangelist, Interim Pastor, Assistant Pastor, Pastor, Evangelist and Missionary Church Planter (started 3 Churches).  He also served four years in full-time evangelism, preaching in 200+ churches in about 22 states.

After starting his third church (Victory Baptist ~ Oakland, MD) and pastoring it for 15 years, Brother Sehorne once again entered the field of Evangelism

Doug Sehorne is an Old-Fashioned Bible Preacher who delivers soul-stirring messages filled with the Word, rich in practical application with 40+ years of personal illustrations from real life experiences. He can also provide special music when needed.  The Sehorne family is a member of Faith Baptist Church in Walterboro, SC, where Tony Jones is the Pastor.  All services are streamed in real time and can be viewed during service times.

Evangelist Doug Sehorne believes in preaching "Repent and Believe the Gospel".  Repentance is the missing element in many churches today, even Baptist churches.  Revival is at the heart of his messages and preaching.

Brother Sehorne has also authored the following books.
Nehemiah: Essentials of Effective Christian Service  (Available under the Resources tab)

James: The Application of Faith to the Issues of Life (available under the Resources tab)
